CM Edappadi Palaniswami's declaration to people of Neduvasal

The Central Govt's infamous 'Hydrocarbon Project' at Neduvasal in Pudukkottai district has attracted a lot of protests in the State. Locals fear that the project will pollute groundwater and destroy agriculture.

With villagers, environmentalists, students and even celebrities joining the protest to show support for the farmers, CM Edappadi Palaniswami has just given his statement to the villagers of Neduvasal. He has assured that the State Govt. will not allow any plans that cause damage to the farmers to be implemented, and has requested the villagers to call off the protests at Neduvasal.
