Though Jayasuriya have an unsung release today in the new movie' Players' , a rechristened movie which was originally titled 'Two wheeler', the actor's first official release of the year will be 'David and Goliath' by Rajeev Nath, all set to be on theatres by 14th of February. Featuring his close buddy Anoop Menon, who also scripts the film, the film stars Anumol and Soumya in the female lead roles.

Earlier, it was widely circulated that the release of the film has been postponed owing to differences between the producers of the film and it's director. But Anoop Menon confirms that their original plans was to release the movie only by February and that they are continuing with their promotion works for the movie release.
