It has been five years since Dileep paired with Kavya for a movie. Their last movie together was 'Vellaripraavinte Changathi' which won Dileep his first State Award for Best Actor. The dup are teaming up yet again after this long hiatus for an upcoming Adoor Gopalakrishnan movie. The movie is titled 'Pinneyum'.

Dileep reveals that the reason for the long gap is because nobody approached them with scripts that required them to team up. The actor also reveals that Adoor is the one director to whom he has approached for roles in the Malayalam film industry. Srinda is also part of the movie.
