Dileep – Kavy wedding was a great surprise for Malayalees. It was unexpected and there was a sudden sentiment in favor of ex-wife Manju Warrier. The trailer was 5 minutes long.

The wedding happened at Vedanta Hotel, Kochi and it was attended by close friends and relatives of the two stars. It was a simple function and was graced by the presence of Dileep`s mother and daughter. Directors Joshy, Kamal, Siddique, Lal etc were present for the function. Actors including Megastar Mammootty, Siddique, Lal, Meera Jasmine, Joemol, Chippy, Menaka, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, KPAC Lalitha etc attended the function.

Dileep and Kavya are divorcees from their earlier marriages and it was speculated by media that both are in love and marriage is in cards. Ever since the divorce of Kavya`s divorce from Nishal Chandra took place, Dileep and Kavya was alleged to be in love and it was raked up by the media more fervently when Dileep got separated from Manju Warrier.
