When someone is making a film on a subject that requires research, it's natural for the makers to involve experts. This is true for historicals and mythologicals more than for others. In the past, we have seen this being done in the case of historicals like Rudrama Devi and scores of mythologicals.

It's not surprising that the makers of Gautamiputra Satakarni are into just that. It's rumoured that the Nandamuri Nata Simha has drafted a professor of the Tirupathi-based Sri Venkateswara University with the intention of having valuable inputs related to the Telugu emperor. The aim of both Balayya and Krish seems to be to treat the history respectfully, and not commit any gaffe due to oversight or recklessness.

One wonders if Balakrishna feels Krish has no much experience in handling such estoric subjects and so, he needs to be given a helping hand. Whatever it is, involving a team of expers will only enrich the script! Well done, team Gautamiputra Satakarni!
