Born to actress Tanuja and film director Shomu Mukherjee on 5th August 1974 Kajol has the unique distinction of receiving six Filmfare Awards from eleven nominations, and along with her late aunt Nutan, holds the record for most Best Actress wins at Filmfare, with five.
