Anyhow, the director of the movie Sreenath Rajendran maintains that 'Koothara' was another experiment that took more than an year in the making. The movie was made as a fiction film, mixing some fantasy elements to realist cinema, which some couldn't accept that easily. The director says that it is not right to kill a movie like this without realizing the effort that has gone behind it.
