Mohanlal has joined the sets of his new film 'Laila O Laila' at Ernakulam.The movie directed by Joshy is a family thriller written by Suresh Nair of Kahaani' fame. Amala Paul teams up with Mohanlal for this film after their last hit together in 'Run Baby Run'.

The movie will also feature Tamil star Sathyaraj in an important role. Sathyaraj was last seen in Malayalam for the movie 'Aagathan', which had him in a negative role.
Joshy is planning to complete the shoot of the movie in four schedules.

'Laila O Laila' will reach the theatres as a Christmas movie of 2014.
