After a long time with the ace Mollywood director Laljose, Salam Palapeetty, his associate is turning an independent director with the movie 'Red wine'. The director has almost managed a casting coup with Superstar Mohanlal playing the lead together with the younger heroes, Asif Ali and Fahad fazil. This is the first time , three of them are coming together for a movie.

The movie with scripts from Maman K Rajan will be produced by Gireesh lal in the banner of Gawri Meenakshy films. 'Red Wine' will feature music by Bijipal.

The shoot for the movie will soon start at Wayanad and Kozhikkod.
