If the reports are to be believed, the Maheshinte Prathikaram writer Syam Pushkaran is all set to write for Mohanlal. The National Award winning writer who is currently penning for a Fahad Faasil movie directed by a debutant, in a recent interview expressed about his dream project. He also remarked that casting Mohanlal in his movie is a dream come true. However, Syam didnot reveal much about the project.

Syam Pushkaran entered the film industry with Aashiq Abu`s superhit movie Salt and Pepper, and later penned movies such as 22 Female Kottayam, Da Thadiya, Idukki Gold, etc, along with his partner Dileesh Nair. Syam won the National Award for his soothing writing for the movie Maheshinte Prathikaram which was a huge hit in 2016.
