Since this morning a rumour has been doing rounds that director Suresh Menon. the ex-husband of actress Revathy has passed away. But Suresh Menon is very much alive and he has clarified that by posting his latest selfie.

What lead to the rumour is that a young director named Diphan has passed away after undergoing treatment in a private hospital for a prolonged illness. He has directed a Malayalam film titled as 'Puthiya Mukham'. Suresh Menon is the director of the Tamil film 'Puthiya Mugam' that released in 1993. This lead to confusion as some news channels carried the headline "Puthiya Mugam Director is dead".

Suresh Menon will be making a reentry in Kollywood as an actor as he is presently acting as the villain in Suriya's 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' and G.V.Prakash Kumar's '4G'.
