Megastar Mammootty will be playing a cop in the upcoming action entertainer Streetlights, the directorial debut of cinematographer Shamdat. As per the latest buzz, the upcoming out-and-out thriller will be a bilingual shot in Malayalam and Tamil languages. However, an official announcement on the same is awaited!

Produced by Mammootty himself, Streetlights will feature Dharmajan Bolgatty and Lijomol Jose in key roles. Scripted by Shamdat, the cinematography is by Shamdat's brother Sadat. Planned to be filmed in a single schedule, the movie will be primarily shot in various locations in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
