Megastar Mammootty who is on a signing spree has few projects - in Malayalam and Tamil, lined up for release. While the audiences are awaiting Mammootty's Masterpiece directed by Ajai Vasudev to hit the big screens before all, the latest that we hear is the actor's movie with Shamdat titled Streetlight will reach the theatre first. The team is yet to fix the release date though!

Helmed by Shamdat, the upcoming movie is a crime thriller which revolves around a murder mystery featuring Mammootty in the role of an investigative police officer. Megastar Mammootty will be playing a cop in the upcoming action entertainer. Produced by Mammootty himself, Streetlights will feature Lijo Mol playing a meaty role, paired opposite Soubin Shahir. The movie is a tale of many characters and has Joy Mathew, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Indrans and Harish Kanaran in supporting roles. Produced by Mammootty himself, 'Streetlight' is primarily shot in various locations of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
