Megastar Mammootty is all set to star in a Kollywood movie. The movie is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ram, who is a national award winning director. It is after six years that Mammootty is coming back to Kollywood. His last movie was 'Vande Maatharam'.

Mammootty will have Anjali of 'Angadi Theru' fame as the leading lady. However, they are not playing a couple in the movie. Mammootty plays a married man. The story progresses through different aspects of his profession. Compassion is the theme of the movie. Kodaikanal and Chennai will be locations.
