Mohanlal paid a visit to Minister Thiruvanchiyyor Radhakrishnan along with Priyadarshan wishing the minister success in the upcoming elections in which he stands as the UDF candidate. The actor was on his way to Wagamon for the next schedule of 'Oppam'. The visit was meant to be a low key one.

But the public got wind of the matter and people thronged to Thiruvanchiyoor's residence. Police was called to escort the star back to his car as the crowd thickened. Mohanlal had campaigned for Ganesh Kumar earlier on who is standing for LDF. He seems to be staying on neutral terrains as far as politics is concerned.
