Two of Mollywood's top actors are gearing up to share screen. According to reports, Prithviraj and Mohanlal are yet to play the lead in ace director Padmakumar's next. The movie has been titled 'Kanal'. Both Mohanlal and Prithviraj had been part of Padmakumar's previous movies.

The script of 'Kanal' is by Suresh Babu, who had earlier scripted the Padmakumar-Mohanlal movie 'Shikkar'. Kanal is reportedly a revenge drama with a tagline 'Every end is a new beginning'. The movie is all about to strangers with revenge in their minds meeting at Dubai. It is also reported that Prithviraj and Mohanlal will share screen for another movie, to be directed by Priyadarshan. This movie is touted to be a political thriller.
