There seems to be a profusion of police officer roles in M`Town in recent times. Following Action Hero Biju` we have a slew of police officer movies coming up. In Vettah` which releases soon, Manju Warrier plays a police officer role. Kunchako Boban will do a police role in Rosshan Andrrews` movie School Bus`.

Mammootty is also shooting a movie in which he plays a circle inspector. Another police movie to release soon is an Asif Ali movie in which some of the leading actresses in M`Twon including Abhiramai, Sajitha Madathil, Krishnaprabha et al are doing police roles along with Asif Ali. It seems to be a police season in the industry.
