Remya Nambeesan, the Mollywood actor who turned to Tamil films in recent times, is more than thrilled when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi himself expressed his wish to meet the actress who is going to be in the lead role of the movie ‘Ilainan’, written by the CM.

Remya who had started acting in the role immediately jumped out to meet the veteran and seek his wishes. Remya considers that it is her biggest accomplishment in her filmy career to get a chance to meet Kalaignar and be in a role penned by him. The movie which will have Remya as Oviam, a singer is directed by Suresh Krishna. Incidentally, this is the 50th film from the director who had earlier created many super hits in Kollywood. ‘Ilainan’ will also feature Meera Jasmine and Pa Vijay in other important roles.

This is the fifth Tamil movie of Remya, who also has got some more good projects in Tamil, which will start their shooting soon.
