Premam actress Sai Pallavi, who was recently seen in the Malayalam film Kali opposite Dulquer Salmaan has signed a Telugu project titled MCA (Middle Class Abbayi). The movie which has Nani playing the lead role started rolling today, May 6th. Directed by Venu Sriram, the movie has been officially launched with a simple pooja ceremony.
MCA is Dil Raju's production, which has Devi Sri Prasad providing the music. The movie also has Srikanth and Bhoomika Chawla playing key roles.
Sai Pallavi was previously roped in to play the female lead opposite R. Madhavan in the Tamil remake of Malayalam superhit Charlie, which had Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy in the lead roles. But the movie is reportedly shelved. The actress is now officially a part of director Vijay`s next film titled Karu bankrolled by Lyca Film Productions.
