After an illustrious career with forty well made films to his credit, director of many Mollywood classics, Sibi Malayil is going through a rough patch. To lift the spirits of the veteran director, his friends and artistes of his first film ‘Muthaaram Kunnu PO’ assembled at the Gokulam Convetion centre, Kochi on Thursday to celebrate the 25th year of the director's movie career.

Priyadarshan, Sreenivasasn and Joshy were among the big names who came to greet Sibi. The occasion was made more special with the announcement of a new movie by the director, which is yet to be titled. Featuring young stars like Asif Ali, Nishan and Nithya Menon, this will be a film for the new generation from the evergreen director.
