Pursuant to this ruling of the Apex Court, the Tamil Nadu Police are not reportely stationed in Koovathur Resort where Sasikala has been staying since yesterday. It is learnt that Sasikala and the other two convicts will be escorted by the TN Police staff until the Bangalore border where the Karnataka police will take their custody and present them in front of the Magistrate in the Bangalore Court. From their the three convicts are expected to be lodged at the Parappana Agrahara Prison complex in Bangalore around 2.30 PM today.

It was the same prison where the late Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha and the other three accused in the DA case where lodged after Bangalore Special Court Judge D Cunha convicted all the four in the DA case on September 27, 2014. Later the Bangalore High Court acquitted them in May 2015.
