For several years Onam season is considered as one of the best time for Malayalam movies. Families will be in a festive and holiday mood will hit theatres unlike other time. Most of the times we might get a visual treat from our Megastars during Onam time.

Unfortunately this time there is a sad news of Mammootty fans; no Mammootty movie is ready to hit on this Onam. Initially, ThoppilJoppan is expected to hit on theatres during Onam. Later it is rescheduled to October. The last out movie of Mammotty was White but it was not went well with box-office.But still we have got other films lined up and all set to hit screens during Onam. Prithviraj starrer Oozhamwould be the first in that line, it will hit screens on September 8, 2016. Mohanlal-Priyadarshan team's Oppam would expected to release on September 9. Dileep's Welcome to Central Jail and KunchackoBoban'sKochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho are also slated to be Onam releases. Apart from the above, Mohanlal and Jr. Ntr starrer Janatha Garage would also hit the theatres during the Onam season.

Soon we will get to know which movie would rule the box office.
