In a span of less than 3 years, Tovino Thomas has carved a niche for himself in Mollywood as a bankable actor. The 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' actor who is basking in the success of his back to back hits, 'Oru Mexican Aparatha' and 'Godha', recently shared about the struggles that he faced in his early days as an actor.

"I resigned from my job to become an actor as per my wishes. I got signed in the film of a newbie director. I was one of the leads among the four in it. But even though I was invited for the pooja, I was not called for acting in the film. That film turned out to be a flop and I am lucky that I didn`t make my entry through that movie,” said Tovino.

The actor who is very choosy about the scripts further said, “I could have done almost five films last year after Ennu Ninte Moideen but I was waiting for a thrilling story.” Tovino who has a handful of projects is currently getting ready for his forthcoming flicks Mayanadhi, directed by Aashiq Abu and Tharangam, produced by Kollywood superstar Dhanush`s production company, Wunderbar Films.
