Since Vijay has a huge kid fan base than his contemporary actors, children in a child care home run by of actor-director Raghava Lawrence for destitute children wanted to watch Theri`. The popular stunt choreographer made a phone call to the Ilayathalapathy and got a promise from him. Within a short time, Vijay has arranged a special screening for those 60 kids and Lawrence was completely stunned, because he had been expecting that Vijay will arrange tickets in any theater screening the film.
