Actor Vishnu Vishal's second production venture 'Kathanayagan' was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on June 23, 2017. Now the film's lead actor cum producer Vishnu Vishal has announced that the films release has been postponed as it is not possible to compete with many films releasing on the same day.

Silambarasan's 'Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan' and Jayam Ravi's 'Vanamagan' are the biggies scheduled to hit the screens on June 23 which will be the Ramzan festival weekend.

It is a wise decision from Vishnu Vishal to have avoided releasing his film amid the rush.

'Kathanayagan' stars Vishnu Vishal and Catherine Tresa in lead roles while Soori plays an important role. Sean Roldon has rendered the music score for this film written and directed by debutant Muruganandam.
