News is coming in that Mohanlal and Mammootty after a long time team up for a film directed by scriptwriter Udayakrishna. The scriptwriter is now basking in glory after the success of his film Pulimurugan` directed by Vysakh. If this happens then it will be his first directorial venture. The film is reported to be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Films and Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.

The two great stars of Mollywood had acted together in 55 films until now. As per the reports this will be colossal film in terms of its budget and so to meet its budget requirements two producers were roped in. Meanwhile, Udaykrishna has started writing for the Mammootty film after Pulimurugan` which is a campus movie. Ajay Vasudeve is directing the film.
