Balayya's gesture to ex-jawans

Actor Balakrishna is a truely inherits the patriotism of his dad N T Ramarao. The star gave financial aid worth laksh of rupees to ex-service men at the audio launch of his upcoming film 'Paramaveera Chakra' in the city this week. The star will be seen playing the role of an army major in the film. He is seen in a dual role with Amisha Patel and Sheela playing lead roles.The movie is being directed by MP Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by C Kalyan.

He invited ex-service men who lost their limbs, eye sight, fingers and paralysed in the war and gave them cheques. The onlookers were touched at the apathy of these jawans and the star himself was moist-eyed.Most of them had to be assisted by their relatives and couldn't even walk.

Sainik welfare officials were overwhelmed at the actor's gesture. Balayya also was the chief guest at the Army celebrations held in Secunderabad recently.

"Even if he did it for movie promotion, he still lent financial aid to the poor jawans. It is commendable" said a relative of the jawan.
