Coming week would see the release of 'Viruddh' that has Big B playing a central role once again. Three weeks down the line [on 12th August] would see one of the biggest movie ever churned in Bollywood - Mangal Pandey - that is expected to take a phenomenal start all over.

But what happens in this three week period. Barring 'Mere Jeevan Saathi', that has been postponed a number of times and may finally get released on 29th July, there is not even a single biggie in this duration. So what one would witness are some small, but promising movies like 7 1/2 Phere [Juhi Chawla, Irrfan Khan], Sehar [Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Kapur, Sushant Singh] and Yahaan [Jimmy Shergill, new find Minissha Lamba].

Also, there is a probable release of a long in the making experimental 'Bhagmati - The Queen of Fortunes', a fantasy movie for children which is an amalgamation of animation and real life characters played by Tabu, Milind Soman and Hema Malini in a special appearance.

This throws up one interesting point. Now, a week's opening of Rs 2 crore plus in a single city would definitely have to wait now till 12th August!
