There is a new entrant in RGV camp.

No don’t be mistaken its not another sultry actress but this time around it’s a guy. The latest to hop on the RGV bandwagon is music composer Prassana Shekhar. Not only has he composed music for two tracks HOLI and DOSTI for the much-hyped 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag' but he also got two other RGV movies 'Darling' and 'Go' under his belt.

And as the catchy and rhythmic 'Holi' number is rising on the music charts Prassana has definitely got reasons to smile.

Having studied in Berklee College of Music Boston, this young composer started his career with ‘D’ and has also done tracks for 'Sarkar and James'. He did compose music for ad-jingles, documentaries; and corporate launches but movies were the ultimate destination for him always.

When quizzed about the music of Aag he said “The music is very young and vibrant, but I have taken efforts to make it appealing to the people of all age groups. I’ve done two songs in the movie and both the songs are based on different moods. Hence it was important that the music is able to bring out the right element so that the listeners could relate to it. I hope the songs strike the right chord with the audience.”

Ask him about his current hat trick with RGV and he smiles and says “Well, no harm in being associated with big names uhh?”

Also, not many are aware that Prasanna also has a flair for composing background score for films. For his upcoming release DARLING, Ram Gopal Varma has also roped him to create background score that is expected to give a jolt of your life as the horror drama unfolds on screen.
