Kalabhavan Mani plays Rahman's father in a movie titled Nanma.

Written and directed by Sarath Chandra Waynad, the movie features Kalabhavan as an old man with long hair.

Interestingly both Mani and Rahman had recently acted together as heroes in Abraham and Lincoln.

Mani had played varied roles in different languages. He relishes the challenge to do tough characters.
