The audio of Bodyguard is going to be finally released on Dec. 13. Announcing this on the occasion of his birthday (Dec. 5), producer Bellamkonda Suresh has said that hero Prabhas and director VV Vinayak would be attending as the chief guests for the function on the thirteenth. It will be held at Shilpakala Vedika.

The music of the film, which stars Venkatesh and Trisha in the leads, is by SS Thaman.

Much has been written about the film and how Gopichand Malineni (director) has made appropriate changes to the script to make it more compatible with Telugu nativity. Since the film's plot has a canny resemblance to that of Salman Khan's Bodyguard (2011), comparisons are bound to be drawn. In this light, the director is said to have taken care to present it with more care.

Bodyguard will share the box-office space with Nippu, the other release on Jan. 13.
