Mohanlal and Anoop Menon's journey through an arid landscape

Padmakumar's upcoming movie 'Kanal' is set to begin next week. The movie stars Mohanlal and Anoop Menon in the lead roles. Honey Rose and Sheelu Abraham plays the female protagonists. Anoop Menon says that the script looks very engaging and that he is looking forward to the movie.

"It (Kanal) is the journey of two men through an arid landscape, both mental and physical", writes Anoop Menon. Dubai is a major location for the movie and it is said to be a revenge saga. Anoop Menon added that "the prospect of sharing screen time with one of the greatest actors of our times is mighty exciting".
