Experimental films has long become a stale word in mollywood, with only a very few attempts made against the regular formatted films. But now, a group of media debutants are coming up with a new film titled 'D-17'.
The movie will feature 'Pranayakalam' fame Ajmal and Bollywood star Atul Kulkarni in the lead roles. The shooting for this movie will start, this month. The movie will have 'Cycle' fame Sandhya as the heroine. Directed by Manu-Chidhambaran, 'D - 17' will be produced by Eldo Joseph in the banner of El-Mac movies.
Meanwhile Ajmal's debut movie in Tamil 'Anjathey' has gained good word of mouth and is shaping up to become a good hit. The hit run of the film has also opened many new projects to the young star who was virtually forgotten in Mollywood after his debut debacle 'Pranayakalam'.
