The biggest news that came attached with the new Mammootty project 'Parunthu' was that after a couple of years super actress of the south Nayantara will again appear in a full length role in this film.

She was last seen in Mammootty's ‘Rappakal' which was a moderate hit. From the days of ‘Rappakal’, Nayantara was also donning the role in the movie as the best character that she had ever been in.

But now the participation of the actress in the movie seems to be in doubt as she is busily engaged in the shoot of Kollywood movies like ‘Kuselan’ and Ajith's ‘Aegan'.

The actress may find it difficult to earmark a month for 'Parunthu'. And so in all probabilities Nayantara fans in Kerala will still have to wait a little longer to see their favorite actress in a Mollywood flick.

M Padmakumar, the director of the 'Parunthu' who is for the first time working on a superstar project has now decided to move on without a heroine for Mammootty. The actor who has been with no heroines in many of his films will again don a similar role as private financier purushu, a character who loves none and is not loved by anyone.
