After "Seniors' it is now the turn of 'Janapriyan'. Mollywood will be much happy with the success ride of films with lesser heroes. While 'seniors' boasted of a cast including Jayaram and Kunchakko Boban, 'Janapriyan' by debutante director Boban Samuel is emerging a appreciable hit with a cast line of Jayasuriya, Manoj K Jayan and Bhama. The movie with a simple story about a youth from a silent village of Thonnekkad, tyring ways to amend the lives of his fellow mates in the city is now well received in cities and villages alike. The movie with soft touches of humour was completed in a low budget which will also help it to regain the capital in a matter of few weeks. The songs by debutante Gowtham are also hummable and adds to the value of the movie.

'Janapriyan' will be the first solo hit from Jayasuriya after 'Ivar Vivahitharaayal' which came out a couple of years ago. The actor will have an eventful year in 2011 with films from Padmakumar, Shaji kailas and Swathy Bhaskar in the pipeline.
