He debuted into the Malayalam film industry with 'Goal' in 2007, the film was directed by Kamal. Though the film did not smash the box-office, Rejath's performance was noticed by filmmakers and more roles started coming his way.

Then came 'Vellathooval' directed by IV Sasi that saw Rejath pairing with Nithya Menen. The film is based on the friendship between a boy and girl, who are mistaken by the society to be lovers, and the troubles they battle when they decide to shun their homes.

Rejath's most recent release is 'Doctor Love' and 'Sevens'. Both the films that hit theatres just in time for the Onam holidays have an ensemble of star cast. In 'Doctor Love' Kunchaco Boban and Bhavana play leads. The film is an out and out college drama which sees Rejath Menen playing a negative shade.

Similarly 'Sevens' too is a film based on young guys who are football fanatics and team to play sevens football, a game popular in Malabar Kerala, where the game is played with just seven players on each side contrary to the usual eleven. The story reveals around this team of seven unknowingly get spun in to a crime scene and the incidents that follow.

Rejath Menen received the Asianet Film Award for the best new face in 2008. Touted as one of the promising upcoming talents in the industry, Rejath has two more upcoming films that he is associated with at the moment.
