Nagarjuna has accepted the invitation of Anil Ambani to join the Swachh Bharat campaign. He along with Amala, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Naga Susheela,Sushanth and over 100 staff members of Annapurna Studio have participated in the program in Hyderabad.

Nagarjuna said, "Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Ambani, Sania Mirza etc have participated in Swachh Bharat campaign with the invitation of Narendra Modi. Now I and my family members have participated in it. Not one or two hours, I am participating in it full time. If everyone take some time to clean not only their house, but also their surroundings, we could see Swach Bharat soon. For making this campaign more successful, we have launched a website named www.nag4SwachhBharat.org . If anyone, who participated in the program, send their photos, we will upload in the website. I also request Akkineni fans to participate in the program "
