For the first time in her career, Nayanthara is playing a dual role in a Tamil movie titled 'Maaya'. It is a female centric horror entertainer.
Though the makers have first considered the title 'Night Show' for the film, they have changed it as 'Maaya'. This film will be released in Telugu as 'Mayuri'. Ashwin Saravanan is making his debut as director with this movie. According to reports, Nayanthara will be seen as a mother in this movie.
Nayanthara is the leading heroine in Tamil now with half a dozen films in pipeline and in Telugu, she will be seen opposite Balakrishna in the actor's 99th film, directed by Sriwass.
