'Andhala Rakshasi' and 'Ala Ela' fame Rahul Ravindran has been roped in for an important role in Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva's upcoming movie, 'Srimanthudu'.

Koratala Siva confirmed it in his microblogging page and thanked Rahul for accepting the role. Rahul Ravindran is also very happy at bagging a role in Mahesh Babu's film and said that though he is playing a small role, it is very important one. Shruti Haasan is the lead actress in this family entertainer. Jagapathi Babu is playing Mahesh Babu's father in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing tunes and this movie is being produced under Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Rahul Ravindran is also playing the second lead role in Sundeep Kishan's 'Tiger'.
