Samantha, who ruled the Tollywood as the top actress for a few years, has only one film in hand in Telugu at present. She is currently acting in Allu Arjun's 'S/O Satya Murthy', directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Though she was initially considered as the leading lady in Ram Charan - Sreenu Vaitla movie, later Rakul Preet Singh replaced her. Allu Arjun seems to have been impressed with Samantha's performance in
'S/O Satya Murthy'.If reports are to be believed, Samantha has been roped in as the leading lady in Allu Arjun and Boyapati Srinu's next, which is going to be produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. S.Thaman will compose the music for this movie, which is going to be a love and action entertainer. More details are awaited.
