Actress Sridevi offered prayers at the Sri Kalahasthi Temple on Friday. Sources say that the actress has performed Sarpadosha Nivarana pooja and other rituals and took the divine blessings. The temple authorities have been informed about the yesteryear actress` visit and they have made all the arrangements in advance.

Meanwhile, Sridevi`s sudden visit to the shrine has created quite a buzz. It`s being rumored that Sridevi has performed the pooja to evade all the evils for her 18-yeard old daughter Jhanvi`s impeding filmi debut.
