Mega Star, Padma Bhushan, Dr Chiranjeevi, is now playing hero in 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' with Prabhudeva wielding the megaphone and produced on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits.

The film was formally launched on February 9 amidst several prominent film personalities. This is the remake of successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'.

Srikanth is playing the role of Circuit in this film. Pawan Kalyan would appear in a special role that comes just before the climax of the movie.

Devisri Prasad is giving tunes for the movie, while Paruchuri Brothers are scripting dialogues. The regular shooting of the film would begin from February 15.

It is reliably learnt that Nayanatara is playing the female lead.
