This summer, will witness the releases of biggest crowd pullers of Tollywood like Jr NTR, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Prabhas and Naga Chaitanya with more than that Rs 130 invested on their movies.

Compared to last year, this year has been farely good for Tollywood as last quarter witnessed the hit of 'Ala Modalaindi', 'Mirapakay' and 'Gaganam'. Though Golconda High School and LBW good decent reviews, the movies didn't do commercially well. 'Jai Bolo Telangana' managed to recover money, thanks to Telangana sentiment.

T-wood is thus banking on the summer releases to continue its fortunes and set the cash registers ringing. Leading the pack is socio-fantasy Shakthi, starring Jr NTR, which has been traded for more than Rs 35 crore.

This will be followed by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Theenmaar', which has earned good reviews for its music already. Jayant Paranji is directing this movie and there are positive vibes about this love entertainer that stars Trisha too.

Young rebel star Prabhas, who tasted success with the romantic comedy Darling last year, is playing it safe again and returning as a lover boy in Mr Perfect. Other than Prabhas, Naga Chaitanya and Rana are also gearing up for an April clash and are banking on their love stories, 100% Love and Nenu Naa Rakshasi, respectively.

With 10 more films including RGV’s Pelli, Tollywood audiences will be spoilt for a choice.

We are yet to see how many of them will do well at the box office this Summer more so because world cup is also doing well interms of TRPs and India is doing well in the matches.
