Balaji Motion Pictures' next awaited flick ‘The Dirty Picture’ based on the sex siren of the eighties Silk Smitha began its first schedule today. The movie is being shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

B-town talent Vidya Balan will play the role of the sensuality quotient who made waves in the south during her times.

Directed by Milan Luthria, the movie also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.

Written by Rajat Aroraa and having music by Vishal-Shekhar, cinematography by Bobby Singh, choreography by Pony Verma, editing by Akiv Ali and costume design by Niharika Khan.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, ‘The Dirty Picture’ is slated for a year end release.
