Lakshmi Prasanna's Gundello Godari stars Aadi Pinisetty of Eka Veera fame and Tapsee Pannu in the lead roles. The Manchu girl is playing a key role here. Director Nagendra Kumar is done with most of the part (70%). Due to be released this June, the film has music by Illayaraja.
Shot mostly in the picturesque locales of the Godavari districts, the film is being made by Manchu Entertainment without much fanfare. You will see Tapsee in a traditional role. There is the usual dose of romance, together with the emotions between family members.
Coming to the thematic backdrop of Gundello Godari, the movie has the fearsome 1986 Godavari floods as one of its main points. The film was shot at a Rajahmundry village also.
