Bala is a widely acclaimed director, popular in Tamil and Telugu for his natural and complex characterizations of the protagonists and the others around. His films Sethu, Pitamagan, Nanda, 'Nan Kadavul' have been critically and commercially successful and won laurels including national award for the best film, director etc.

His latest ‘Paradesi’ with Adharva, son of yesteryear Tamil hero Murali (Hrudayam) has been dubbed in Telugu by Kiran of Future Films and is being released on the 30th of August with the same title. A visibly excited Producer said ‘I’m happy to bring this project to Telugu. The movie has done well in Tamil and made Adharva a name to reckon with in Tamil. We are releasing the film this week. The movie is based on a true incident that happened in 1937 which depicts the British Raj and the officer’s atrocities on the Indian workers. We are sure the film will be received well by Telugu public’

Dialogues: Shashank Venneakanti; Lyrics: Chandra Bose; Music: GV Prakash; Choreography: Suchitra Chandra Bose; Co-Producer: Y. Srinivas; Producer: Kiran; Story, Screenplay & Direction: Bala.
