Sreekanth Addala, who directed Varun Tej's 'Mukunda', is very happy with the openings of the movie.

He said, "'Mukunda' got good openings as it is a good movie. Generally it is a risk to release the film of a new hero on a non holiday. But we released the film with confidence on it. We tried to do the first film of Varun Tej in a new way. Our new attempt is being received well and the collections are also good. The mouth talk about the film is very good and everyone is praising Varun Tej's screen presence. The dialogues are also getting good response. Everyone is saying that this is a feel good movie, which could be watched with the whole family. I am very thankful to the audiences who made the film a big success".

Pooja Hegde is the leading lady in 'Mukunda'. Mickey J Meyer is the music director. Nallamallapu Srinivas (Bujji) and Tagore Madhu produced the film under LEO productions banner.
