Parineeti Chopra, who was nominated twice for the National Award, has been roped in by AR Murugadoss for his as-yet-untitled film with Mahesh Babu. For the uninitiated, Parineeti Chopra's performance was celebrated in the films Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Ishaqzaade, and Shuddh Desi Romance.

By choosing an actress with studied acting prowess, Murugadoss has delivered a masterstroke. In the past, whenever Mahesh acted with a Bollywood diva, the casting was near perfect. It was with Namrata Shirodkar (Vamsi), Bipasha Basu (Takkari Donga), Sonali Bindre (Murari), Amisha Patel (Nani), and Amrita Rao (Athidhi).

As for the movie, it will go on the floors after Mahesh is done with the shoot of Brahmotsavam.
