The dubbing work on ‘Vesavi’ has begun at Prasad recording theatre in Chennai on Tuesday. 'Vesavi' is the dubbed version of successful Tamil film 'Veyil' directed by Vasanthabalan and produced by Shankar with Bharath and Bhavana as hero and heroine.

Shankar is the presenter of the Telugu version, while Nukarapau Suryaprakasa Rao is the producer and Suresh Kondeti is the executive producer. It is being produced on the banner of SP Creations.

Producer Surya Prakasa Rao says, 'I am very happy for dubbing the film being produced by Shankar on our banner. Though there was heavy competition over the dubbing rights, it was Suresh Kondeti who was responsible for our achievement. Both the pictures produced by Shankar proved big hits so far and this film would repeat the history. Prakash, nephew of AR Rahman, provided excellent music for this film. Dialogues by Sriramakrishna would remain a highlight.'

Suresh Kondeti says, 'Last year we took the dubbing rights of 'Premiste' on October 12 and it was a big hit. Though it is a co-incidence, this year we are taking the dubbing rights for 'Vesavi' on the same day. It is a good experience working with SP Creations.' Director Vasantha Balan says, 'It is my sheer hard work. Almost 70 per cent of the film scenes were real life incidents that occurred in my life. Many of us will have similar experiences. Shankar gave me complete freedom and I made good use of it.'
