'Buddha' with a message of peace

Post-production works are in progress for 'Gautama Buddha' directed by Allani Sridhar and produced by K Rajasekhar on the banner of Dharmapatha Creations with Sunil Sharma as Buddha, Suman as Bimbisara.

While prominent Bollywood artiste Puneet Issar is playing the role of Anguli Mala, a cruel killer who turns the disciple of Buddha, Surendra Paul is doing the role of Suddhodhana, the father of Buddha.

Kausha is playing Yashodhara, wife of Buddha and Parvati Melton is donning the Amrapali role. The conversion of Siddhartha into Buddha was picturised extraordinarily with the help of wonderful graphics.

It may be mentioned here that 'e-effects', a popular organisation, which provided graphics for 'Krishh' film is working for the movie which is being picturised simultaneously in Telugu, English and Hindi.

The film was shot in Ramoji Film City, RK Studios, Annapurna, Manchirevula, Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Lumbini (Nepal) and several other places.

Shashi Preetham is scoring music for the movie, while Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry scripted the songs for the Telugu version.
